Maintenance Service Programme

Our plantcare specialists are all trained horticulturists and courteous whilst carrying out their duties. The same person/team would visit each time continuity and to enable them to become familiar with your plant displays and personnel. They carry photograph ID cards and wear a uniform enabling them to be identified whilst working on a clients premises.

At the beginning of each visit they report to a designated person or area to receive any specific instructions. At the end of each visit they complete a maintenance report stating work carried out and any further work which may need doing. The report states the date and time in and out, either yourself or a member of your staff is asked to counter sign the report which also has space for comments. A copy of the report is left with your for your records.

In addition to our regular maintenance visits, our maintenance manager, with your permission will visit the site at agreed intervals to carry out a full inspection of the gardens, providing you with a copy of his report.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

  • To attend the clients premises the minimum number of times specified to carry out the maintenance of the gardens.
  • Our plantcare team or person will carry all necessary equipment and will only require water. In circumstances where water is not available, with prior arrangement our mobile water tanks can be used.
  • To observe all regulations regarding security and access applicable at an individual clients premises.
  • Moisture levels of all beds and containers to be checked and watered accordingly.
  • Plants to be fed as necessary to ensure strong healthy growth.
  • Any pests or diseases to be countered by the judicial use of the relevant pesticides. All chemical to be non-toxic to people, birds and animals in normal use, as agreed under the Agricultural Chemicals approved scheme.
  • Pruning operations to be undertaken upon a regular basis.
  • Removal of rubbish i.e. cans, crisp packets etc and also excess leaves during the Autumn period.
  • Any dead or unsightly foliage to be removed. Any plant declining significantly in appearance will be replaced, All such replacements will meet the original specification and will be strong healthy specimens.
  • Regular control of weeds by physical removal.
  • For contracts with seasonal flowering plants: These will be changed four times per annum, spring summer, autumn and winter.
  • During the replacement of plants every effort shall be taken to ensure there is no disruption to a clients business and the area shall be left clean and tidy.
  • Any specific or individual request of a client can be incorporated into this schedule.
